Being one of the most well-know paintings by Rembrandt the Anatomy of Dr. Nicoleas Tulp was and oil on canvas production made in 1632. This painting created many changes but was most important in Scientific knowledge, Therefore, interests towards science was reborn. And with the knowledge of the human body people were able to progress during the renaissance. It accurately shows the different aspects of the human body, particularly the human arm. The expressions in the picture also shows how much interests they put into dissections. The painting supports this claim since its an accurate assumption of whats happen since it was painted during the dissection. In in my opinion this painting shows that the figures in the painting were very curious and secular since in the painting they did the dissection independently, instead of with the church. Another way this relates to the Renaissance, is about the Guilds. This is because people like Dr. Nicoleas Tulp were patronized in art. Changes were made when people became more nosy/curious about things. In conclusion, this painting helped the renaissance people have a deeper understanding of Scientific Knowledge, and these ideas were spread around Italy which lead to further developmental and advancement.
